Please note we are a private practice. As we offer a variety of lens options tailored to your needs, the consultation and trial period may take slightly longer with different lens types.

  • Our most advanced and thorough eye examination:

    • Assess your history and recent symptoms

    • Measure your vision with your old glasses

    • Calculate your new prescription (if required)

    • Binocular vision check to ensure your eyes work properly together

    • External eye health check

    • Internal eye health check

    • Intraocular pressure check

    • Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides a detailed, non-invasive 3D scan of the retinal layers that is not seen with a traditional retinal photo detecting early signs of eye conditions

    • This appointment is tailored to your individual needs, giving you plenty of time to ask questions and discuss any concerns with the optometrist

    • Assess your history and recent symptoms

    • Measure your vision with your old glasses

    • Calculate your new prescription (if required)

    • Binocular vision check to ensure your eyes work properly together

    • External eye health check

    • Internal eye health check

    • Intraocular pressure check

    • Visual field screening

    • Retinal photography, allowing us to build up a valuable visual record of your eyes over years

    • Assess your history and recent symptoms

    • Measure your vision with your old glasses

    • Calculate your new prescription (if required)

    • Binocular vision check to ensure your eyes work properly together

    • External eye health check

    • Internal eye health check

    • Retinal photography, allowing us to build up a valuable visual record of your eyes over years

  • A contact lens trial will start with an assessment to determine which lens type is most suitable for your eyes and gives the best result from both a health and visual perspective

    You will then be shown how to care for, insert and remove your lenses safely.  Once successful you will be offered a home trial

    An up-to-date eye examination will be required

    As we offer a variety of lens options tailored to your needs, the consultation and trial period may take slightly longer with different lens types

  • Whilst wearing your contact lenses, the optician will check the health and surface of your eyes

    You can discuss any problems you may be having and how many days you are wearing them for

    Please wear your contact lenses to the appointment and bring your glasses with you
